He Whakamāramatanga (Design Meaning)

Piko Pakati is a visual representation of whakapapa in a spiral form, illustrating the interconnectedness of generations, where each new generation adds to the tapestry of family relationships, creating an ever-evolving and intricate web of connections.
This design is repetitive showing the perpetual growth and the continued generations including those that were before you and those who are to come after you.

“He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata”
"What is the most important thing in the world? It is the people, it is the people, it is the people."

Designed in Aotearoa by toi Māori artist Cy McLeod (Uhi Wero) and made with care in China.
